Who We Are
Have you ever taken a moment to lie down and reflect on your life? It's something many of us do, but perhaps not as often as we should. As I transition from freshman to sophomore, I often find myself pondering, "How did I get here?" Not long ago, I was just a young girl, feeling like high school was a distant future. And yet, here I am, already thinking about college, my dreams, and my future career, all before I can even drive. Sometimes, I catch myself reminiscing about that young girl whose only limitation was her imagination. But then I realize that dwelling on the past won't change anything. Instead, I've decided to write to both my past and my future selves. It's a reminder that while I can't return to what's already passed, I can shape what's to come. I remind myself that, in the end, I have myself for life, and loving and accepting who I am is crucial. After all, who knows me better than I do? I hope you find solace in taking the time to reflect on yourself, recognizing how far you've come, and truly getting to know yourself better. Remember, you are your most enduring companion on this journey we can make.
